Central
School Tibetan Chauntra was
founded on
26th September 1978. It is being
administered and managed by Sambhota Tibetan Schools Society
Dharamsala under the direction of Department of Education of
Central Tibetan Administrative.
The school is co-educational residential school.
The school is affiliated to CBSE Delhi and we have classes from
Montessori to class X.
Currently we have 402 students, including 194
boys and 208 girls. The school faculty comprises of 24 teaching staff
17 non-teaching staff.
Mr Dhondup Dorjee is the present school
principal.

Features:
1) The new basic education policy is being
followed by the school.
2) Integrated class instruction is being followed
for classes I to III.
3) The school is functioning smoothly without any
bell system.
